Where did your journey begin and how did you end up where you are today?
My background is Journalism. I spent 15 years working as a food journalist and now I'm a full time author writing from my home in Byron Bay. I teach yoga for fun to get me away from the computer.
As a yoga teacher, what are your favourite daily mindfulness practices?
I don't have daily practices as I find them too rigid. I prefer to find mindfulness in the ways I communicate, what I consume and how I show up in the world.
What inspired your latest book ‘Make It Happen’ ?
Make it happen was inspired by an event series I taught for three years in Sydney. I adapted the content into a book and shopped it around to a few publishers.
I wanted to write a book about manifestation that made it feel achievable for everyone, because it is ! We're all manifesting every second of the day whether we're conscious of it or not.
I have a new book out in January called Higher Love.
What are your top three tips for manifesting?
1. Look at your self worth - Your level of self worth and your ability to manifest are directly correlated.
2. Ask yourself what action steps can I take to get one step closer to what it is I want to manifest - this is you taking ownership of your future.
3. Have faith that if it's not this it's something better. Sometimes we get too attached to the specific thing we want to manifest and if it doesn't happen we create a story around why we weren't deserving or how we failed, but instead can you trust that the reason it didn't happen is because something much better is on its way to you?

Why do you believe in the power of magic? (How has the Universe shown up for you?)
The Universe shows up for me every day. I wouldn't be where I am without a deep faith that the Universe in full support of my every move.
